The Spill (2021)

In 2021, I was invited to do a book cover for the publication, Empire and Environment: Ecological Ruin in the Transpacific. ​I decided to return to my reflections on the Matson container molasses spill of 2013 in Honolulu Harbor, this time focusing on the puffer fish that were killed, using salt and molasses to illustrate what molasses in salt water looks like.
